Hi and welcome to my blog! I am Holly, the founder and owner of Green Leaf Beautique. I wanted to share some of my background with you and what sparked my interest in the world of beauty. At a young age I was already very intrigued by my mother's skin care regimen. I watched her many nights in the bathroom, wondering why she was so diligent about "washing her face." It was after working in the beauty industry myself I learned the power of skin care, cleansing actually being one of the most important steps to having beautiful, healthy skin.
My Mother introduced me to the idea of becoming an Esthetician shortly after I started working for Clinique in 2004. She had returned from a trip after sitting next to an Esthetician on the airplane and told me to go to school for aesthetics... and I thought "Estheti-what?" Surprisingly at that time I didn't know what an Esthetician was but loved the histology of skin. I was fascinated by skin care! Fast-forward to the present time and I still shockingly get that question sometimes when asked what I do for a living.
Aesthetics is an important part of the wellness industry which continues to grow and change rapidly. As an Esthetician, I take pride in continuing education. Always expanding my horizon to offer innovative treatments to my clients. It is my mission to offer much more than just a relaxing experience, although it definitely goes with the territory.
Becoming a skin care professional was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I love helping people achieve healthy, beautiful skin and overcoming any condition in the skin that hinders our confidence. Being beautiful starts from within, but looking beautiful on the outside makes us feel even better and that's my goal for every person I come in contact with!
